These are fraudsters who are out to obtain cash from unsuspecting clients. They are usually unregistered and well coordinated. They appear as genuine operators and agents and it may not be easy to detect them at the first encounter. Most of them advertise for cheap auto insurance premiums. They claim that they can obtain cheaper premium rates than you have quoted or you could currently be paying. They are normally very canning and understand your main problem is to secure cheap insurance premium. Having this dilemma in their mind, they approach unsuspecting clients looking for insurance companies with good premium rates and present their offer.
These fraudsters do not provide the name of their company, agent or broker. This should be the first requirement a client should look out for when dealing with insurance agents that are not well known to the client. Others use known names of big companies fraudulently. In this case they may ‘tap’ information such as company logo and other features but provide in existence postal and unregistered telephone numbers information in a manner that the client may not suspect.
A common feature of these fraudsters is that they will offer very unimaginable cheap insurance premiums than you can get in the market by your own search. However, in order to offer you the service of connecting you to those companies offering the cheap insurance shroud, they request for certain amount of fee. This is in form of subscription fee.
It should be noted that, genuine agents and brokers do not ask for any payments for the service. They are paid by the insurance companies for sourcing clients for them. Always avoid these types of agents as they are fraudsters. Never pay any fees or subscription amount to be directed to an insurance company.
Others claim to offer free insurance for a certain period. This may be a couple of months. Usually, when you come in contact with these kinds of insurance companies or agents claiming to have companies that offer such a ‘give away’, one should be very cautious. Usually, most of the scams are not discovered until one is involved in an accident and realizes that the insurance company and hence the cover is non existence.
When sourcing for an auto mobile insurance cover, a client should not pay referral fees. Licensed agents don’t charge this kind of fee. It is also not common for insurance premium to be paid through money transfer services such as wire transfer. When you come across this, stop and source else where or carry out an investigation on the legality of the agent or company.
When filling information for auto insurance registration, a client should fill the form personally and deliver it to the insurance being engaged in. Or else, the client should remain with copies and confirm the registration personally. Always be alert and bear in mind that it is not ‘safe to play’. One should be on look out for fraudulent activities and report any suspicion to the police. Always utilize the internet to research on a company information or an agent you are about to engage in insurance registration. If the company is legally registered to sell auto insurance it will be shown on the internet. This should be sourced in the website that enjoy licensed insurance companies and agents in your area.

Car insurance can kiss my grits. I’ve been through two wrecks, neither am I in the wrong. Both cars are scrap metal. What does my insurance do? They give information about the other driver and just basically tell me honorable luck. Happy hunting. Car insurance only helps you if you are in the wicked. I think this is complete bull. So I’m paying out about four hundred dollars for some insurance yo-yo to give me the same information I received at the scene of the accident. Am I crazy? Why am I paying these people? And no, I am not the type of person to call in the lawyer. To me that seems trashy and neck collars don’t look good on me anyway. I just want what’s owed to me.
My first accident, I was driving a ’91 Mercury Sable. This was before they went compact. I could fit 4 and half people in my trunk. Well, small people. My car insurance, Progressive. I was at a dead end, and then, rear-ended by a Crown Victoria. My trunk was in my succor seat. Yeah this car was cruising at a 40 miles per hour. To make this short, I had to go to physical therapy, for about five months. I could not work, because of actual whiplash. I get so mad when people say they have that when they don’t. Whiplash is when you don’t even want to turn you eyes to the left or right because the harm is excruciating. So when people say they have that while being able to move their heads from side to side, I say this with an extended finger, ” Up yours!” I digress, well it was lovely juggling the hospital bills and physical therapy payments. I had to keep track of all the receipts and send them off to my insurance and also to the other guy’s insurance. Progressive, hey, support a sister out here.
I was offered a rental car for two weeks, but I had to get within a clear time limit. So I’m seriously injured, can’t really drive objective yet, but if I need a car I had to find it on their terms. I mean really, this is just absurd. My car was turned into a Volvo. I can barely walk around without looking like Frankenstein’s monster. And I have no upfront money to purchase a new car. What do these idiots expect you to do? I hate these people!
I was paid for my lost wages. Thank God. But the other guy’s insurance company sent a couple of spies (investigators, whatever you want to call these worms) to accomplish sure I was the real McCoy. I mean by that I was really hurt. They would actually drive to my house for some bogus excuse to look if I’m really laid up. Of course when I answer the door, they have the shark tooth smile on their faces. “Oh, you’re walking around? So you’re feeling better? ”
“You rang the doorbell, didn’t you? How else would I reply the damn door.”
They would drive by my work as well. Oh, I’m getting enraged all over again. And this happen about 9 years ago.
And what does my car insurance do for me in my moment of need? Nothing. They just ask when will I conclude turning in my receipts.
So Louisiana state law: You must have car insurance.
So Claire Bankston’s law: Phooey on car insurance companies. And their moms! That goes double for Progressive!

Joey Buttafouco’s publicist has station up another headline grabber for his client. In an interview on FOX News, sporting gray “vote for amy and joey” t-shirts Joey and his publicist discussed an upcoming reunion meeting with Amy Fisher. Will the publicity stunt waste in a long-term reunion for the two felons and erstwhile lovers? According to reports, the two have been talking again, and are looking forward to the meeting.
The meeting between Joey Buttafouco and Amy Fisher is set to be in New York’s Central Park. On a FOX News interview, Buttafouco said his primary reason in meeting Ms. Fisher is to find out what was going on at that point in his life. He has repeatedly claimed that he was on medications, and couldn’t assume and reason well, at the time of the incident. When pressed as to whether he expected an intimate reunion with Amy Fisher, he and his publicist nodded. Buttafouco commented that it is strong possibility.
1992, the Buttafouco name grabbed national headlines when Joey Buttafouco’s 16 year-old lover, Amy Fisher, attempted to kill his wife. Fisher left Mary Jo Buttafouco with permanent damage following a shot to the head. Amy Fisher went to jail for attempted homicide, and Joey Buttafouco went to jail for statutory rape of the sixteen year-old.
Buttafouco has had several run-ins with the law since 1992. He moved to California in hopes of becoming an actor. It never panned out for more than a few small parts. In 1995 he was arrested for picking up a hooker, who happened to be an undercover agent. Once he got out of prison, he opened an auto shop. He ended up in jail again, this time for insurance fraud. He also lost his license as an auto mechanic.
Unbelievably, Mary Jo Buttafouco remained married to Joey until they moved to California. He remarried, but has once again divorced.
Where does Amy Fisher fit into the equation? In her co-written book, Amy Fisher: My Account, explains her sexual promiscuity as a teen. She claims to have been sexually abused repeatedly, even raped, and to have had an abortion before she ever met Buttafouco at the age of fifteen. Amy and Joey met at his auto repair shop, when she took her car in for repairs. As their relationship developed, one day Joey, then 35, drove the 15 year-old home where their first sexual encounter occurred.
Amy became hyper-focused on Joey. She lost interest in family, friends, and school. Upon Joey’s suggestion, Amy Fisher got a job with an escort service, and started making good money. Amy’s obsession with Joey only grew. Ultimately, she gave him a choice: his wife or her. She was astounded when Joey chose to stay with his wife. She feigned an attempted suicide attempt with superficial cuts on her wrists.
There was a short hiatus in the relationship, when Amy began dating the owner of a local gym. However, before long she and Joey were back together. Amy Fisher then began to obsess on how to gather rid of the biggest obstacle in her relationship with Joey, Mary Joe Buttafouco. Amy claims Joey knew about her plans to raze his wife. She said they discussed them, and he even called her to see if she had a gun. Joey denies any knowledge of Amy’s intent to harm his wife.
May 17, 1992, at 11:30 A.M. Amy Fisher, armed with a Titan .25 semi-automatic gun, went to the Buttafouco home to ruin Mary Joe. She was driven by the accomplice who helped her obtain the gun. Mary Jo Buttafouco and Amy had a short confrontation on the front porch of the Buttafouco home. Amy then knocked Mary Joe to the ground and shot her in the head, leaving her for dead.
Joey Buttafouco fingered Amy’s ex-boyfriend in the shooting. He denied the affair and Amy’s allegations that he had given her the gun. When Mary Joe pulled through the severe head injury, Joey gave up Amy, telling people that she might be the shooter. Mary Joe identified her in a picture as the assailant.
Amy, in exchange for testifying against Joey, the district attorney got her sentence reduced to fifteen years for attempted murder, assault, armed felony, and criminal expend of a firearm. Mary Fisher served seven years. In 2003, she married a man 24 years her senior. They have one son and live in Long Island, where Amy has become a columnist.
Amy’s husband suspects that she may want to obtain back together with Buttafouco. He cites her new breast enhancement, and interest in the meeting with Buttafouco. He is reported as having expressed concern for his marriage.
The final chapter of this epic tragedy remains to be written. Viewers of Geraldo at Large, on FOX News, May 13, were encouraged to visit website to vote for whether Joey and Amy should get back together. I cannot fathom the public encouraging or even participating in this farce. Has Amy Fisher grown up, as she claims? Has Joey Buttafouco changed? It didn’t appear that he had. A heinous crime and great tragedy is being revived for cheap publicity. I am enthusiastic in seeing how society reacts to the revival of the “Long Island Lolita” story.
Meanwhile, I feel sure we can rely on David Letterman to fall back on the butt of his favorite jokes, Joey Buttafouco.

When looking to purchase automobile insurance in Idaho there are a few laws and considerations that one needs to take before the decision is made.
Insurance Companies Located in Idaho
Idaho is fortunate that it is served by a wide variety of automobile insurance companies ranging in from State Farm Insurance, to Farmers, GEICO, Progressive, Allstate, Titan Auto, and the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. All insurance companies in Idaho are monitored by the Idaho Department of Insurance which is located in the state capital of Boise and all insurance complaints, questions and concerns should be directed through them.
State Requirements for Insurance in Idaho
Like most states, Idaho requires that all drivers, including motorcycles, on the road must have, at the minimum, liability insurance. This liability insurance must at least include $25,000.00 for injury or death of one person, $50,000.00 for injury or death for two or more people, and $15,000.00 for property injure, though most insurance companies will suggest to its motorists that the amounts insured should be higher.
Proof of this automobile insurance must be kept in the auto at all times and if you are found to be driving without it, you will be required to provide proof for one year if you are a first time offender. If a driver is found to be driving without insurance, their license can be suspended and a fine imposed by the judicial system.
The status of Idaho does not require Uninsured / Underinsured Motorist coverage. Though, since January of 2009, Idaho has required that all insurance companies to include an uninsured motorist bodily injury provision unless the clients expresses, in writing, that they do not want such coverage.
Average Insurance Rates for Idaho
Based on figures, from the Insurance Information Institute, the average cost of automobile insurance for the Idaho driver was $564.00 for the year of 2007. This amount makes it roughly $230.00 less expensive than the national U.S. average at $794.00 for that same year to ensure your automobile.
This amount is only an average of insurance rates and the actual amount will depend upon the driver and their personal information, as well as the automobile itself. When applying for auto insurance, the insurance company may ask, and determine your rates, upon your age, past driving record, your education and profession as well as your marital status. Idaho also allows insurance companies to determine your rates, as well as products offered, based on your personal credit history.
Factors that are important, when an insurance company is determining rates, also include the actual automobile that is being insured. The year that auto was made as well as the make and model that it is, is also information they will need. The amount you paid for your auto and the current condition that it is in now. Your insurance company will also want to know what safety features, such as a driver’s air bag, that might be included in you automobile.
Relatively speaking, Idaho is an inexpensive state to insure your automobile, but by keeping your driving picture elegant and your personal credit history in good shape you will go even further in lowering your insurance rates.

There are several cheap car insurance companies. Listed here are a few and a review of what information is contained on their websites.
Progressive has claimed to be a cheap car insurance company. They offer services such as 24/7 claim service, pet accident insurance, and someone to assist you with buying a car if yours gets totaled, and discounts for a safe driving record and having more than one car insured with them. In completing a quote, individuals are asked to provide the car that they drive, personal identifying information, and whether they have any driving violations. Individuals are then offered a choice of what kind of car insurance they would like, and the amount of money they could pay for each of those insurances, which may or may not be cheaper than what they are already paying.
Geico also has claimed itself to be a cheap car insurance company. Their claim is that 15 minutes could save you up to 15 percent on your insurance. One bonus with Geico is that they do provide all the different coverages that are available and that you the consumer should consider having on your policy. I started a quote from them but became frustrated at the amount of information that they required. Some personal information I was allowed to opt out of giving like my phone number and social security number, but others I was not like my occupation and how much I am paying for my insurance currently. Geico does not provide coverage in Massachusetts.
Allstate is going a different route in being a cheap car insurance company. Their claim is a safe driving bonus for every 6 months an individual goes without an accident they can salvage up to 5% of their premium. They can also earn money off of their deductible. Individuals can also receive a quote online.
State Farm can also be considered a cheap car insurance company. They offer to their individuals information such as how much insurance do they need, what affects the designate of their insurance, what are coverage and deductible options, and auto insurance discounts. They offer discounts for Multiple Vehicle, Multiple Line, Fresh Vehicle Safety, Accident Free, Anti-Theft Device, Defensive Driving, Marvelous Driving, Good Student and, Driver Training. Individuals can get a quote online in about 15 minutes.
Nationwide is also a cheap car insurance company, because they claim that you can save up to $500. They offer 100% guarantee on repairs for as long as you have the vehicle. They offer 24/7 claim service. They also offer free On Your Side Reviews to assist you with choosing discounts and coverage that are right for you.
Amica also claims to be a cheap car insurance company. They do not offer remarkable information about their auto insurance online. However, you can complete a quote online.
Esurance offers the most information about cheap car insurance companies. Esurance allows individuals to glean a quote that compares auto insurance rates. This allows the individual to pick the best insurance information for them. Individuals can then buy the policy right online.
